When preparing his piano recital with Beethoven’s last three piano sonatas, it seemed particularly important to Jean Muller not only to work out their future-oriented tonal language, but also to illustrate the diverse influences of Beethoven’s predecessors on him.

Mr Muller takes a (live) break from his work on the Beethoven complete piano sonata project, that he is streaming live every Sunday, until the composer’s 250th birthday on December 17th. Here is the detailed concert programme:
